Publish your app on A Little App
A Little App is a home for apps. We help publish anything you made, make it online and get a link for you, and you can share it with anyone. They open it and start using it, on any phone or computer, with nothing to install and no account.
We're in early access. Things will change and sometimes break. Write to support@alittle.app any time. We read everything.
Why publish here?
You get a public link in minutes, and it stays up. It's one link you can send to anyone, and it doesn't depend on your AI subscription.
The people you made it for can just use it. They don't need an account, and it works on whatever device they have.
What they save stays with them. Your app keeps saving the way it does, and we keep it for them. Once they sign in, it follows them to their other devices.
They can use it together. Your app can have rooms, where people share one live state: a list for a family, a game for friends. They join from a link, with no account.
Your app can ask an AI model. We pay for the calls, within a daily allowance for each person.
You see that it mattered. You can see how many people thanked you, and people can follow you for what you make next.
All of this is free, and you don't pay for people using your app.
Getting started
How do I publish?
Publishing is by invitation during early access. You can join our waiting list on the Publish page, and tell us what you made. Once you're invited, give your coding agent the setup line from that page and ask it to publish, or paste your app there yourself.
Which tools work?
All of them. Codex, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or any other coding agent can publish for you. You can also paste a page made in ChatGPT or Claude, or upload one you wrote by hand.
Can I bring an app I already made?
Yes. Anything that runs in a browser can come here, including apps from Lovable, Replit, GitHub Pages or a single HTML file. It stays where it is too. Publishing here takes nothing away.
What can I publish?
Games, quizzes, gifts, tools for your team: anything that runs in a browser, for one person or for everyone. A file can be up to 100 MB, and an app up to 300 MB.
Building your app
Does my app need a backend or a login?
No. We save people's data and know who they are, so most apps don't need either. If yours has them only for saving and signing in, your coding agent can read our guide and remove them.
Can I keep my own backend?
Yes. Your backend stays where it is, and your app calls it. Declare it with your app and it will work.
What doesn't fit yet?
We host what runs in the browser, so we can't run your server code for you. A private API key can't go in your app either, because everything we serve can be read in the browser. Keep keys like that on your own backend, or use our model calls instead.
Can my app use an AI model?
Yes. Your app names its prompts when you publish and asks the model by name while it runs. We choose the model and pay for the calls, so there's no key in your app and nothing to set up. Each person gets a daily allowance of calls and sees it in the app. An app that asks a model can't also connect to outside services. Our guide has the details.
Can my app use an outside service?
Yes. Declare the service with your app and it will work. People can see what your app connects to on its page, and you're responsible for what that service does with their data.
Can I try it before anyone sees it?
Yes. Every save is a private draft that only you can open. Nothing goes live until you publish.
After you publish
How do I update my app?
Save a new draft and publish again. The link stays the same, and people get the new version within seconds. If something goes wrong, you can go back to any earlier version.
Who can find my app?
Everyone. Published apps appear in the Library and in search, with your name.
Who owns my app?
You own everything you create.
Can I take it down?
Yes, at any time, from the app's page.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@alittle.app from your account's address.
